The following were items discussed on September 30th, 2011 at 1:45pm. Members present were Jared Seales, Sebastian Rothwyn and Mayi Trinidad. Catherine had no baby sitter and Bret was a no call no show (Bret was taking part in the Jewish Holiday). Meeting goals: · Discuss ideas after review of the song · Discuss the treatment · Accurately interpret the song · Share collaborative ideas for music video Points discussed: · Potential censorship of song. Needed to decide on necessity of censorship after meeting with Professor Wisotsky. · Making the video like the song poetically and literally. Decided on conservative mixture of both. · Illustrated our visions for the music video based on our interpretations. · Main character is CyphLyfe. Treatment: Primary topic is the duality of the drug game and, by extension, a life of crime. “You can get all of the riches you desire” at the cost of your soul, and in some instances, your civil freedom. The video uses locations and behavior to illustrate the story. Video is up to three minutes and fifty seconds (3:50) in length. Add credits to the beginning and end like a real music video shown on network television.CyphLyfe is the main character and the video will have guest appearances from others to help tell the story. There is some dark humor. The verses are told at a normal pace and the chorus is very fast. The narrative brings meaningful storytelling to screen and tells a story from an empathetic point of view of the situation. | Rothwyn's VlogMy braindroppings about videography.
