This music video was shot for the band Live from Paris!.
Laugh at Little Things (Music Video Short)

I met the producer of the song, Tristate, through a mutual friend, Jared Seales who was a fellow student in the Media Technology program at BCC.
We discussed our work, then made a plan to construct a music video short. After several communications about storyboards, availability and other phases of the production process, we decided on the first shoot.
The first day of shooting was done at a sound recording studio in midtown Manhattan, NYC. Lighting was amusing because I forgot to bring my gloves, so every lighting (hot to the touch) burned my fingers. Since many of the lighting casings were old, they would not stay in place so duct tape was required. That is why you should always keep duct tape handy.
Fortunately, we were able to use every light they had to have three-point lighting for each band member, with some left over for cool lense flare effects.
The second day of shooting was a bit more challenging. We used the 3rd Ward photostudio, courtesy of Phil Bailey of Bad Element Clothing. In this case we didn't have enough lighting to do exactly what we wanted, so we used the two we had, used some creative exposures for the shots, and the result was fantastic.
